MIRBO is the brainchild of Ted Ervin and Sandy Connolly, two musicians active on the Connecticut Shoreline. 

Having lots of nice instruments and equipment on hand is just one benefit of owning Crescendo Music Loft, a teaching and rehearsal studio in Madison, CT. More often than not, many of these instruments sit idle. 

Friends also occasionally stop by and donate really nice instruments and equipment that we either find homes for or keep in the studio. 

Seriously, who doesn’t need a studio accordion?! Don’t you NEED to try playing it? Ha ha!

So that got us thinking: why not let people rent some of our gear? Instruments shouldn’t be sitting in their cases collecting dust: this stuff needs to be used.  

Thus, MIRBO was born.
